Tsai Ken has always yearned for a home in the mountains, a hidden paradise of peace. He represented the undulations of hills with wires, and the shape of home with a wooden frame. The scatted potted plants cast shadows on the ground. The wooden stool underneath determines the height of the hills and the solitude of this paradise. The aquatic plants in the basins and the earthenware denote the river down the mountain, where natural creatures coexist alongside past civilizations.
