The phenomena of addition and subtraction of time occur in tandem in one’s life. The life accumulates its contents and elapses respectively via the addition and subtraction of time. Each moment carries specific space, time and memory, exhibiting the very state of that moment, which is a result of silent observation, mediation and brilliant invention.
Following his solo exhibition “Elapsing Time” staged at the Main Trend Gallery last year, Lin gets into such a state more profoundly, insofar as to be a time capturer on his casual trip and in mediation as well as to represent a state of temporal condensation and formal reconstruction.
