Leung Siu Hee was born in the Solomon Islands and graduated from the National School of Fine Arts in Paris in 1980. He has since settled in Paris, France.

Leung Siu Hee 's black and white charcoal works depict plants and animals with meticulous realism, interspersed with everyday objects such as tables and utensils. Unlike typical sketches, Leung Siu Hee 's works go beyond mere still life depictions. The objects are subjectively arranged and freely positioned, creating a sense of mystery within the black-and-white or monochromatic world. Adding to the enigmatic atmosphere, his works evoke a feeling of aging and stagnation.

Leung Siu Hee depicts mountains, forests, and land in nature, using bold lines and tonal contrasts to convey a rugged and desolate style. The exposed rocks and sparse vegetation evoke a sense of solemn unfamiliarity, as if confronting the primordial world.
